2019 Hydrocephalus Annual Meeting

Local Ambassador: Mark Hamilton

This is the eleventh meeting of the International Society for Hydrocephalus and Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) Disorders.  Hydrocephalus involves a build-up of excess fluid within the brain which can result in devastating neurological effects and life-threatening situations.  This clinical problem affects patients of all ages and therefore the purpose of this meeting is to “provide a forum for the presentation of high quality, original scientific work in the field of hydrocephalus and CSF disorders,” and to “encourage research to improve outcomes and enhance CSF shunt survival in pediatric and adult CSF disorders.”
